“Parafest has quickly established itself as an annual pilgrimage every pilot should make.”

Mike Fletcher – Fly Kandy

July 11 – July 14, Caerwys, Flintshire, North Wales, CH7 5BQ

The camping fields are open from Thursday July 11.
Thursday to Sunday night is included with your weekend Parafest ticket.
There is no need to leave until midday Monday July 15.

We have a fresh water supply and various caterers to keep you fed and watered during your stay.
A fully licensed bar is in the festival field for alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks and refreshments.
Toilets are located around the site and there is a quiet camping area for those with children and the early to bed types.
Showers will be available 0800-1200 for a nominal donation to local charities.

Being UK pilots we are well used to our plans being thwarted by the weather.
Don’t let it spoil your weekend, come anyway. Parafest is the biggest and best pilot party in the country.
There will be loads going on for the whole family and Parafest is the only trade exhibition for ultralight aviation in the UK.
Nowhere else can you see, touch and try so much different equipment and accessories all in one place.
Traders and suppliers of all things that fly will be exhibiting and you can get your questions answered by the experts in a relaxed and fun environment.

Parafest is more than just a fly-in; Parafest is a festival you can fly at.!

Bring them with you, bring the kids and bring the dog. Parafest is for the whole family.
We have entertainment, sideshows and attractions for everyone.
Parafest is close to the beach and the best North Wales coastal tourist towns are just a short drive away.
Use the camping ground as a base to explore everything Wales has to offer during your stay.

Your dog is welcome but please remember you will be on an active farm with lots going on.
Please keep all animals and feral children under close control at all times.

Of course you can. You can bring whatever you have to sleep in for the weekend.
Sorry, no electrical hook ups available.

Yes but please be respectful of your neighbours and don’t fire it up early in the morning, leave it running all day or run it late into the evening.
Between the hours of 0800 – 2100 is acceptable to run a generator to chill your beers or power your hair straighteners.
Any earlier or later and a Parafest steward will turn it off.
Do not leave your camp with a generator running unattended.

Yes of course you can, you are more than welcome to come and join the Parafest party.
The North Wales free flying sites are just a short drive away and Parafest has a dedicated field for the powered pilots to use.

The Parafest site is not an airfield and it does not have a runway.
Parafest is a festival of foot launched and other ultralight flight. I’m afraid we do not have the space for bigger and heavier aircraft.

There will be a NOTAM in place during the event for pilot safety.
Please do not be tempted to enter the area and fly past the event to ‘take a look’.
The airspace will be very busy and our aircraft are very slow moving and hard to see from the air.

Yes of course you can.
You can bring anything you like for fun in the field.
